Mailbox Maintenance and Replacement Info

Following are specifications for maintenance and/or replacement of your Beacon Hill mailbox.

All mailboxes shall be post mounted. House numbers are to be script black metal nail-on and preferably posted on both sides of the post supports either horizontally or vertically. Mailbox color is Steel Black (Gloss Finish) with red flag; and Mailpost color is pure white. Box and post are to be painted as necessary to maintain a clean well-maintained appearance.

When it is necessary to replace or paint your mailbox, the following design choices are approved and available to you:

REPLACEMENT: Approved Mail BOX Design Choices:
1.        Walpole Black (gloss finish) Premium Steel, Liberty Model #276198 (original model #'s; may have changed.)
2.        Walpole Black (gloss finish) Strong Steel, Twinstar Model #276180 (original model #'s; may have changed.)
3.        Approved Variance:  Black Steel Rural Mailbox, Anti-Vandal, Steel Black (gloss finish) w/red flag. Available at hardware stores. You will need to measure the length of the bracket on your mail post to ensure the replacement box you purchase from a hardware store will be long enough to sit properly on the bracket (and not be too short.)

**If you choose the cedar WOOD post, it is to be PAINTED as necessary using Behr Ultra Pure White Solid paint, or comparable.
